POLYPOOL DIVES IN TO THE EXPORT MARKET
With over 40 years of experience in swimming pool construction technology, Polypool has a clear lead in factory-built insulated pool wall and panel systems that combine the benefits of affordability, ease of installation, and effective heat conservation. And the complete kit of prefabricated panels, tracks and accessories is easy to export in ‘flat-pack’ form for swimming pool projects in continental Europe, and further afield. Manufactured in its modern factory in Hampshire, in England Polypool’s domestic and commercial swimming pools are successfully installed all over the UK and around the world.
Using a specially developed and patented interlocking insulated panel system, Polypool can manufacture heat-saving wall and floor panels for swimming pools of almost any size. Unlike a one-piece shell, Polypool panels can be conveniently and cost-effectively transported on pallets, with no need for heavy lifting equipment on site. Pools can be supplied for DIY assembly projects, or customers can use a local contractor. Alternatively, Polypool is happy to supply its own experienced installation team as part of a complete package.
Polypool prides itself on providing practical support and expert advice on pool design and installation. The bespoke service offered to UK clients is also available to international customers and includes in-house CAD design, detailed drawings, and calculations for filtration and heating requirements. This specialist knowledge can be especially important for overseas projects. “Our team of designers and engineers can liaise with a customer’s chosen architect and contractor, wherever they are based,” explains Polypool’s Managing Director, Ryan Fonda. This ensures a fast, hassle-free service. For example, a tiled outdoor swimming pool for a customer in the South of France took just weeks from conception to completion. “Also, whereas wet weather can delay installation of concrete or block built pools, construction using our panel-based system can continue even in damp conditions, ” he adds.
Polypool’s patented insulated wall and floor panel system retains up to 96% of heat that would otherwise be lost through the pool walls and floor using traditional construction methods. The insulated swimming pool basin achieves an impressive U-value of 0.018W/m2K, which means customers can enjoy lower running costs through energy savings, wherever they live. Polypool offers its new insulated technology with a choice of liner or tiled finish to create your perfect swimming environment. All PVC liners are manufactured to the highest specification and the exclusive finishes are overlaid onto the finest quality vinyl materials to give maximum protection against ultra-violet degradation, chemical attack, and contamination from bacteria and fungi.
As an alternative to a liner, Polypool panels can be specified to be suitable for tiles. Customers can choose their own tiling or select from the extensive range of frost-proof, anti-slip tiles and edging offered by Polypool. Tiles can be personalised with a choice of tilebands and motifs. “Or customers can create their own design, or consult our design studio for inspiration,” says Ryan Fonda “That’s the beauty of Polypool - a versatile and affordable way to achieve your dream pool at home or abroad!”
